Editorial Policy
How sources become claims: tiers, evidence states, and hard limits.
Read: Editorial Policy →Every factual claim on DoomsdayDiner.wiki traces back to one of the references below. Each entry shows who publishes it, what we use it for, and when an editor last retrieved and checked it. How these sources are allowed to be used is defined in the editorial policy.
| Source | Publisher | Tier | Retrieved | Used for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Doomsday Diner – Steam store page | Valve / Space Rock Games | Official | Release date, price, developer/publisher credits, feature descriptions, languages, system requirements. | |
| Doomsday Diner – Steam global achievement stats | Valve | Official platform data | All 23 achievement names, the descriptions Steam publishes, and global unlock percentages (volatile; dated wherever shown). | |
| Doomsday Diner – UNIKAT Label publisher page | UNIKAT Label | Official | Publisher confirmation that the game is out on Steam; press kit link; publisher catalogue. | |
| Doomsday Diner – official itch.io page (free demo) | Space Rock Games (doomsdaydiner on itch.io) | Official | Free Windows demo download (~988 MB .7z). Page status label still read "In development" at retrieval even though Steam lists the game as released; treat Steam as release authority. | |
| Space Rock Games – developer site | Space Rock Games | Official | Developer identity reference. |
No page on this wiki currently cites press coverage, and no press article is registered above. If we ever cite one, the exact article URL will be registered first — with its publisher, access date, and the specific attributed claim — and it will be cited only as attributed opinion, never as a fact about game mechanics.
The date an editor actually opened the source and checked the facts we cite against it — not the date the source was published. Sources change (prices, discounts, achievement stats, project status labels), which is why volatile data on this wiki is always shown with its date, and why the updates page explains our re-verification routine.
