The honest summary: DoomsdayDiner.wiki uses Google Analytics to measure visits and interactions, but loads no advertising scripts. This page explains the current data handling and what will change — visibly, and to this policy first — if advertising is ever enabled.

What this site collects today
- Cookies: the site sets no cookies for its own features. Google Analytics may use analytics cookies or similar technologies.
- Analytics: Google Analytics measures visits and interactions. No advertising pixels or fingerprinting scripts load.
- Advertising: none. No ad scripts load on any page.
(You may notice an
ads.txtfile on this domain — that is a static declaration file in preparation for possible future advertising; it loads no code and collects nothing.) - Accounts and forms: none exist. The site is static HTML; there is nothing to sign into and no form to submit.
Hosting logs
Like virtually every website, the server or hosting platform that delivers these pages may keep standard technical logs (IP address, requested URL, user agent, timestamp) for security and operations. Those logs are controlled by the hosting provider under its own policy; we do not use them to identify or profile visitors.
If you email [email protected], we receive what you send — your address and your message — and use it only to reply and act on your request (for example, a correction or takedown). We don't add you to lists or share your address.
External links
Pages link to external sites such as Steam, itch.io, and publisher pages. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies. We deliberately link rather than embed, so no external site can observe your visit here.
If advertising is ever enabled
We may in the future apply to show ads (for example via Google AdSense). Nothing of the sort is active today, and we will not pretend otherwise in either direction. Before any ad ever renders here:
- This policy will be updated to disclose that Google and its partner vendors use advertising cookies to serve ads, including — where applicable — personalized ads based on prior visits to this and other sites.
- The policy will explain how to opt out of personalized advertising via Google's Ads Settings and how third-party vendor cookies can be managed.
- Visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland will be shown a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) to collect consent choices before any advertising cookies are used. No CMP is shown today because there is nothing to consent to.
Children
This site does not ask visitors, including children, to provide personal data. It is a text reference site about a video game.
Changes and contact
Material changes to this policy will update the date at the top of this page. Questions go to [email protected] — see the contact page.
